Short story (description):
The picture depicts Landscape in Autumn. More precisely, there is a tree alley and a wide road. A kind of park in the fall. The trees are rich and freely painted with autumn leaves. There are not many details, but only color and strokes associated with autumnal wind in the leaves of trees.
On the left side of the picture is a dark figure of a shadowy man – without face or any other details. Dressed in warm clothes, he moves slowly as a part of the sadness and density of autumn. On both sides there is only a hint of some houses – it is drawn with lines that should describe windows.
Beside the houses on both sides – there are distant figures of – children playing, passersby. They are all made as a central figure – without details and specificity, they are all just shadows.
The whole picture is like a dream without clear lines and details.
The whole picture is without real details, it is more of an author’s inner feeling like an uncertain dream or memory of a distant event.
Use: The painting is displayed in the permanent exhibition section of the Bitola Museum and is important for monitoring the development of culture and creativity in Bitola and affirmation of the NI Institute and Museum of Bitola.
