Short story (description):
This is a very specific and original painting that is related to the style and contemplation of the author Sandra Kotevska.
There are no real and precise details in it, but some representations that reflect Sandra Kotevska’s impression, mood, and thinking.
Its strangeness is more in the domain of the spiritual, the intellectual, and less in the material. This means that the author is more likely to emphasize the spiritual and emotional values and beauties of the man. Only they are conditions in which life gets value and profound justification.
Two characters are represented throughout the picture. The faces – the portraits are not distant from each other but intertwined. There are no differences, separations, or distances. They are so connected that in the middle they have a common eye with which they do not see the outside world but their deep, invisible feelings. This image captures the love, connection, and inseparability of people that are completely and utterly in harmony with each other. One philosopher said – Don’t look outside, but inside yourself – hear your feelings and the feelings of the other, live the pulsation of the other that is beside you, listen to the thoughts in yourself and others – only so you will know and see the real world.
Sandra Kotevska, although a young author, has succeeded to explain through this painting the essence of human life which means above all – love, connection, respect, attraction, experience, listening, living for the others and with the others – these are the true elements of our true existence , everything else is irrelevant and far from the only truth – the truth of our souls.
The painting is painted with tiny squares that mark the presence of all people in a common world that lives on in a strong bond and love.
Use: The painting is displayed in the permanent exhibition section of the Bitola Museum and is important for monitoring the development of culture and creativity in Bitola and affirmation of the NI Institute and Museum of Bitola.
