Short story (description):
The picture shows a young girl. Her right hand rests on the lower part of her face, under her chin.
Her hair is wavy and carefully prepared. At the back of the head there is a gentle silky scarf.
She is dressed in a dress with a very elegant fold and a small vest. It is painted in the spirit of Viennese painting – according to the clothes, the way of styling and the art style in which there is realistic painting to the smallest detail especially in all facial features.
Young girl, mildly smiling and happy in her youth and allure.
Aleksandar Gjakonov is the first modern painter in Macedonia to be educated in Vienna, accepting beauty, elegance and city lifestyle as the main motif in his artistic expression.
Use: The painting is displayed in the permanent exhibition section of the Bitola Museum and is important for monitoring the development of culture and creativity in Bitola and affirmation of the NI Institute and Museum of Bitola.
