Short story (description)
The painting belongs to the domain of the so-called abstract painting: in its right half, two geometric figures are painted – free and sharp. The first one is on the upper half of the image and is a styled spiral represented in the form of a thick semicircular line around which there are 6 spokes – lines painted with colors that extend in different rhythmic directions – vertically, inclined, to the horizontal – this is purposely painted in such a way that gives the rhythm of the spiral itself.
In the lower right half of the picture, a circle is drawn in the form of a larger spiral in which there are concentrically arranged ring circles that extend from the center to the end of the main circle. Only the color is placed on the left side of the image, which further emphasizes the two circles. This work is also called expressionist painting – in which the author, through a certain motive, paints his inner feelings. In this picture, there are more considerations, a philosophy of infinity, the duration of life, the symbols and the meaning of inner thoughts.
The painting is exhibited in the department of contemporary fine arts – Legislation of Borislav Traikovski, where the history of contemporary painting in Bitola and Macedonia is presented. This is important for monitoring the development of culture and creativity in Bitola and affirmation of the institution Institute and Museum from Bitola.
