Уметничка слика „Птици“- современа уметност, автор Методија Ивановски

Short story (description):

The picture shows birds in flight.
The birds are painted from the middle of the picture to its extreme right.
This picture is interesting in that the author did not pay attention to the exact and realistic appearance of the birds but to their flight. The picture shows three birds in flight while in the upper and lower right have a circle that is supposed to symbolize the sun, below that circle, is a semi-circle that should represent the moon.
The lower left part of the picture shows only the head and a small portion of the top of the bird.

The beauty of this painting is in the author’s freedom of expression, avoiding the real details of the bird’s representation, he shows us the full dynamics of the flight, the energy, the way of free movement through the sky. He achieves this with a few elements, mainly with strong and thick lines. The whole picture is painted with minimal use of multiple colors, it’s called monochromatic, which means using two to three colors that are deliberately positioned in the case so that only the feeling of flight dynamics and beauty can dominate.

Use: The painting is displayed in the permanent exhibition section of the Bitola Museum and is important for monitoring the development of culture and creativity in Bitola and affirmation of the NI Institute and Museum of Bitola.
